I absolutely love my setee that I purchased before we left Franklin, Tn to move back to Austin, Texas. I change out the pillows constantly and add the kids’ stuffed animals. It is literally one of the first things you see when you walk in my house and I think it evokes a sense of whimsy and youthfulness. Maybe this makes me feel better since I am aging and now have teenagers. LOL
The Danish have a lifestyle centered around Hygee-a cozy and simple way of living. They feel Hygee should be incorporated into your daily life to bring happiness and mindfulness. I think they are on to something. It really reminds you to enjoy the little things.
So what things bring you comfort? I will be blogging and instagramming my hygee life.
I absolutely love collecting china and love rotating the little displays in my house. It’s about bringing out your little lovlies and not holding them for holidays. Drink coffee in your favorite china everyday. I am about to teach myself coffee leaf art…just because it makes my coffee time feel a little more special.
Little bunnies, cupcakes and sparkly things are Hygee to me. I love photographing my favorite things all the time. This bunny is a special thing I purchased on a trip to Rosemary Beach and the memories make me smile so naturally it is displayed in my house.
Have a beautiful Hygee day friends.
