I love bringing a product to life and telling a story through flat lay photography. Renskin is a beautiful idea that was hatched in a home in Memorial Texas by a 15 year old girl. Not just any girl, but my God daughter! The family visited Africa and was inspired to use some of the materials they found there. I love how brave Reni is for creating and putting her designs out in the world at such a young age. She knows she has a unique design and loves the process of creating. So as you can see this was a very special photo session for me to help bring style and whimsy to her beautiful creations.
I chose natural items to incorporate into this flay lay session because the jewerly has an organic feel with muted colors and simple design. I also chose to use a couple of children’s books because a child essentially came up with this idea and I wanted to celebrate that.
I love using natural materials such as salt, flowers, coffee beans, succulents and of course coffee!
Here’s her beautiful momma, my life long friend, wearing one of her daughter’s designs.
The embroidered cuff is so fun and different. I wear mine all the time!
As you can see we LOVE Renskin Designs and
are so grateful to have been a part of their beautiful beginnings.
Please check out her designs on Instagram.
